Technical Systems Analyst (Federal Regulatory Systems)

We are currently seeking a Technical Systems Analyst to work directly with our Federal client supporting the automation of business processes and various stage gates of the development lifecycle, including system deployments for a variety of mission critical systems.  We are looking for a person with experience supporting IT modernization initiatives, technical implementations, business process efforts, and improving and streamlining business operations.

What you will be doing

  • Providing design input for an effective technical architecture and incorporation of new technologies into IT systems
  • Designing and executing testing procedures to extract data from test runs and streamline the testing process
  • Analyzing and supporting business processes with a focus on systemization
  • Working with multiple stakeholder groups to determine priorities and build consensus
  • Writing basic database queries (e.g., SQL queries) or scripts with an understanding of relational database concepts
  • Providing O&M support for existing applications
  • Communicating findings verbally and in writing, leading presentations, and collaborating with others
  • Briefing management and senior leadership on tasks and analyses and leading efforts, as requested

What you need to be considered for this role (required)

  • Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Information Systems, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
  • 3+ years of technical experience in supporting system implementations in either the federal or private sector
  • Experience writing basic database queries (e.g., SQL queries) or scripts with an understanding of relational database concepts
  • Experience with troubleshooting, implementation, upgrades, process improvement, change management, and data analysis
  • Experience driving projects from inception to completion
  • Experience working with matrixed teams
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills is a must
  • Ability to effectively and efficiently multi-task, prioritize, and carry out projects through to completion with minimal supervision
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated analytical, reasoning, planning, and problem-solving abilities
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and independent thinker with high energy/positive attitude
  • U.S. Citizenship (and willingness to undergo a background investigation)

  • Experience with IT systems implementations with Federal clients, including both custom applications and COTS products
  • Experience with SharePoint, RPA, and Cloud
