As the Technology Manager and Solutions Architect, you will be responsible for providing technical leadership for our client work. This individual is a leader with technical acumen across the areas of software development, business intelligence, and data analytics to help mature programs, lead and manage projects over the long term, and partner closely with clients and teaming partners to develop technical solutions. 

What you will be doing

  • Provide technical direction and solutions architecture recommendations across projects, and serve as a key point of contact with clients.
  • Helping secure new projects in the software engineering practice area by establishing and maturing relationships with teaming partners and clients.

What you need to be considered for this role (required)

  • A Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Engineering, or similar field
  • 10+ years of software development experience, with at least five (5) years of experience in a management capacity
  • 5+ years of experience in Federal Contracting
  • Experience with the full lifecycle of software development, including: requirements management and analysis, design, implementation, testing and validation, and maintenance
  • Prior experience in a technical lead role, providing engineering management and architecture vision
  • Demonstrated experience using metrics and SLAs as successful performance management tools on past projects (e.g., successful uptime)
  • Prior experience in a technical lead role, providing engineering management and architecture vision
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to create technical documents
  • U.S. Citizenship (and willingness to undergo a background investigation)

What makes you stand out from the crowd (desired)

  • Experience with the following technologies: Java, J2EE, PostgreSQL, JavaScript, JIRA, ESRI, Spring, JBoss, Angular, C++
  • Experience working with XML-based or XBRL-based data sources
  • Experience working a DevOps & CI/CD environment with automated build-test-deploy tools, including experience with tools such as: Jenkins, Maven, Git, Junit, Ansible, Selenium, JMeter, Jasmine, and Burp
  • Experience with U.S. Federal Government business development efforts
  • Prior experience working with financial data or financial management systems
  • Prior experience working in cloud-based platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification
  • ITIL v3 Certification
  • SAFe Certification
  • CSM Certification
