We are seeking an experienced D365 Finance Lead Consultant to lead the functional configuration and delivery of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance (F&O). In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex financial processing and modern ERP capabilities, designing scalable solutions that streamline financial operations, reduce manual complexity, and improve reporting accuracy.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead D365 Functional Delivery: Drive the hands-on configuration, customization, and deployment of core D365 Finance modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Posting Profiles, and financial reporting.
  • Optimize Financial Workflows: Analyze existing business processes to design automated functional workflows, reduce manual processing, and enhance financial precision.
  • Integrate & Collaborate: Partner closely with Solution Architects and technical teams in an Agile environment to define user stories, acceptance criteria, and system integrations.
  • Drive Adoption & Transition: Guide end-user application training, administrative enablement, and change management to ensure seamless organizational adoption.
  • Ensure Compliance & Integrity: Verify that system configurations strictly align with required financial controls, security protocols, and reporting standards.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship (no dual citizenship permitted)
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Technology, or a related field from an accredited college or university
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience configuring and implementing Dynamics 365 Finance (F&O) in lead or senior functional roles
  • 3+ years of experience deploying a managed SaaS platform that is a FedRAMP-certified finance application
  • Deep module expertise in General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Posting Profiles, and complex accounting setups
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to articulate complex functional concepts to both technical teams and executive stakeholders

Desired Qualifications:

  • Prior experience with federal accounting standards, fund accounting, reconciliation, or FedRAMP-certified SaaS platform deployments
  • Microsoft Certified: Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Consultant Associate (MB-310) or equivalent
  • Familiarity with the broader Microsoft stack, including Power Platform, Azure integrations, and Dataverse
  • PMP or Agile/Scrum certification with experience working in modern sprint cycles

Position: D365 F&O Functional Lead
Location: Washington, DC (Fully Remote)
Base Compensation: $140-165K DOE**
Other Compensation: 4% contribution to 401(k), performance bonus, profit-sharing
Paid Time Off: 16 days PTO/year, 11 holidays/year
