As a Project Manager, you will lead high-impact modernization efforts for a major federal financial organization, ensuring their systems are robust, transparent, and efficient. Your leadership will directly influence the success of complex financial system transformations that enable the government to manage its resources with greater precision and accountability.

What you will achieve

  • Strategic Program Leadership: You will oversee the end-to-end lifecycle of federal financial system enhancements, ensuring technical and functional requirements align with long-term agency goals.
  • Business Process Optimization: You will drive operational excellence by engineering business processes and change management strategies that minimize disruption and maximize user adoption.
  • Data-Driven Decision Making: You will design and implement sophisticated Power BI dashboards to provide stakeholders with actionable insights into program performance and financial health.
  • Quality & Delivery Excellence: You will be responsible for the quality assurance of all deliverables and the rigorous financial administration of the project, ensuring we meet our commitment to client success.

Must-Have Skills (Required)

  • US Citizenship (no dual citizenship)
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • 10+ years of professional experience managing complex functional and technical projects within federal financial management or operations
  • Proven track record leading financial system improvements, including service selection, data management, and policy development
  • In-depth functional and technical experience designing, developing, and publishing Power BI-based dashboards and reports
  • Exceptional ability to execute high-level written documentation and communicate complex technical concepts to diverse stakeholders
  • Deep understanding of Federal Financial accounting and business process re-engineering

Nice-to-Have Skills (Preferred)

  • PMP Certification or equivalent professional management credential.
  • Experience with federal financial systems or federal shared services
  • Background in organizational change management frameworks

Location: Washington, DC (Hybrid)
Base Compensation: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, and we are open to discussing compensation based on your qualifications and experience
Other Compensation: 4% contribution to 401(k), performance bonus, profit-sharing
