As a Project Manager, you will coordinate IT service delivery and technology updates for a federal agency.  Your work helps keep various IT projects—from infrastructure maintenance to system modernizations—organized and aligned with standard federal requirements<sup data-turn-source-index="2"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="2"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="2"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="2"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="2"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="2"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="2"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="2"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="2"></sup>.

What you will achieve

  • Project Coordination: You will provide program and project management (P/PM) services to support the organization’s current and future IT structure.
  • Compliance Oversight: You will ensure that project recommendations and plans follow federal policies and agency-wide technical standards.
  • Team Participation: You will serve as a subject matter expert in cross-functional Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to help develop acquisition and risk management strategies.
  • Performance Tracking: You will manage project schedules, quality assurance, and financial reporting to ensure service levels are met.

Must-Have Skills (Required)

  • US Citizenship (no dual citizenship)
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
  • At least 5-10 years of practical experience managing IT projects within a federal environment, including handling risk, schedules, and financial tracking<sup data-turn-source-index="7"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="7"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="7"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="7"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="7"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="7"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="7"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="7"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="7"></sup>.
  • ITIL 4 Certification: A Foundation, Specialist, or Expert level certification in ITIL 4
  • Familiarity with incremental development methodologies like Scrum or Kanban and the standard system lifecycle phases (DME, O&M)<sup data-turn-source-index="8"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="8"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="8"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="8"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="8"></sup>.
  • Experience working within certified environments, specifically ISO 9001 and CMMI Maturity Level 5
  • <sup data-turn-source-index="9"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="9"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="9"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="9"></sup>Ability to produce standard federal project documentation, such as Progress, Status, and Management Reports<sup data-turn-source-index="10"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="10"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="10"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="10"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="10"></sup>.

Nice-to-Have Skills (Preferred)

  • General understanding of modern federal IT concepts like Zero Trust Architecture, Cloud-native environments (PaaS/SaaS), or FICAM<sup data-turn-source-index="12"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="12"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="12"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="12"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="12"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="12"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="12"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="12"></sup><sup data-turn-source-index="12"></sup>.

Location: Washington, DC (Fully Remote)
Base Compensation: We offer a competitive salary and benefits package, and we are open to discussing compensation based on your qualifications and experience
